What do we eat, and how much do we eat when, and why? Why is it that more and more people are becoming obese? Of course, we are always surrounded by food, but why do we always feel we must eat it if it is there? Which brain mechanisms play a role here? And could we influence them, through medication or behaviour? Questions that La Fleur is studying in experimental animals and in humans, with a view to understanding and fighting obesity.
