With a background in Physics, I discovered the advancements that were made in the early to mid-2010s and instantly saw that we were witnessing the future. At the same time, I was intrigued by Brain-Computer Interface technologies.
I did my MSc at Radboud University, where I was able to combine my interests in artificial intelligence with cognitive science. My favorite courses were related to decoding brain signals, simulating neuron groups, and working with brain implants.
Currently, at NIN, I train deep neural networks to simulate visual cortex activity. Images are inputted and then trained to output the voltage of electrodes from an animal subject when presented with those same images. Then, the most exciting images and statistical properties are compared.
Don’t hesitate to contact me about my work, or related fields of AI or BCI.
