My interests in neuroscience lie firmly in the understanding of how neurons in the brain process our reality and in turn use the information of the outside world to generate behaviours. To this end I am currently studying how rodents comprehend each others emotions, where this comprehension occurs, and what brain regions are responsible for the behaviours that follow the perception of emotions.

I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with Neuroscience at the University of Sussex where I did my undergraduate thesis work in the lab of Catherine Hall. Following this I moved to the Netherlands and completed my Master’s degree in Brain and Cognitive Sciences at the University of Amsterdam and conducted both my research internships here at the Social Brain Lab under the supervision of Rajeev Rajendran.
